Morefine M9 Mini PC Launched With Intel N100 Chipset and Windows 11

Morefine M9 is a compact desktop computer that supports Windows 11, up to 32GB of memory, and up to two SSDs. It was also one of the first mini PCs to feature an Intel Alder Lake-N processor.

A barebones model with an Intel processor N100 costs $199, or pay extra for configurations with up to 32GB of memory and up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe storage.

At the heart of this mini PC is a 6W, 4-core/4-thread processor supporting CPU frequencies up to 3.4GHz and Intel UHD Graphics with 24 execution units at up to 750MHz.

Featuring Intel's Alder Lake-N architecture, the CPU cores are based on the same "Gracemont" architecture as the efficiency cores used in Intel's 12th generation Alder Lake processors and offer significant performance gains over Atom-based "Tremont" CPU cores, later The latter is used in low-cost, low-power computers based on Intel's previous generation of "Jasper Lake" chips.

Users can expect features like support for up to two 4K monitors and smooth performance for productivity, media playback, and other everyday tasks, but don't expect this $199 computer to power through resource-intensive applications like video editing or AAA gaming.

The Intel processor N100 is also one of the weaker members of the new Alder Lake-N series, and it's not clear whether Morefine or other mini PC makers will launch models equipped with higher-performance Intel N200 or Intel Core i3-N300/N305 chips in the future. equipment.

It is reported that the Morefine M9 has a body size of 113 x 106 x 42 mm (4.5 inches x 4.2 inches x 1.7 inches) and a weight of 240 grams. The device has one M.2 2280 slot that supports PCIe 3.0 NVMe storage; one M.2 2242 slot for SATA storage and supports up to 32GB of DDR4-3200 memory. There are also fans, radiators, and wireless network cards that support WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. Ports include 2 x HDMI 2.0, 1 x Gigabit Ethernet, 4 x USB 3.2 Type-A, and 1 x 3.5mm audio.
